Antenatal Clinics
These are generally managed by the midwife in correspondence with the practice.
Child Surveillance
regular child checks are carried out during the first five years. The health visitor and doctors work in correlation. The doctors usually prefer to do all immunisations in the surgery.
Family Planning
A full range of contraceptive services are available, including the pill, coil, counseling for sterilisation and referral.
Minor Surgery
Doctors carry out minor surgical procedures in the treatment room. You will need to make an appointment for your concern and the doctor will arrange an appointment for any procedure required.
Counselling
This is available and is provided by an attached counsellor.

These clinics are run by the practice nurse, in close liaison with the doctors. Evening appointments are available on request.
Practice Nurse Clinics
Practice nurse clinic times are as follows:
Mornings - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30 to 11.30am (specialised health clinics)
For other morning sessions the time may vary during surgery opening times. Please contact the reception for these times.
Evening surgery - Times may very during surgery opening hours. Please contact reception for these times.
Healthcare Assistant
Appointments are available daily with our healthcare assistant for routine blood pressure monitoring, smoking cessation programme, weight management, new patient medicals and annual flu vaccination.
Health Check
All patients aged 16 - 74 are eligible for a health check every three years. Patients aged 75 or over are eligible for yearly health checks. Patients wishing to attend would need to book an appointment with the practice nurse. For patients who are housebound a visit by the district nurse would be arranged.
